Description

The floorhead is incredibly manoeuvrable, so the Henry Quick glides around table legs and the like with ease. Features - From LED lights on the floorhead, flexible cleaning tubes, battery life indicators and even dust sensors, cordless vacuums can come with an array of additional features. I can’t vouch that the Henry Quick is as efficient at collecting industrial waste like its mains-powered sibling, but for home use it really does bring something new to the table in the form of that clever pod system. LEDs built into the head are bright enough to light up your floor when it’s dark, but they turn on and off with the brush, so there’s no light when you turn off the brush. However the Henry Quick proved a bit too powerful for our cheap and flimsy Ikea rug, even on normal mode, so this is something to bear in mind.

Unfortunately some certain Scottish postcodes do incur an additional charge on the following post codes. And for those darker recesses of the home, you’ll be pleased to hear that it also comes with an LED headlight. the Henry Quick is heavier than the Dyson V15 but lighter than the new Vax Blade 5 so it’s about average weight for a stick vac. There’s a wall mount in the box, but the charging cable doesn’t integrate like a Dyson, so still has to be plugged into the battery separately if you want to charge while it’s on your wall. Numatic Quick is built to the same high standards as Numatics vast range of industrial machines, and even shares many components, you really are getting a commercial grade machine for use in the home both in performance and reliability.

We're yet to test this part of the vacuum as there were no scent capsules included in the box, however, using them and changing them is a breeze. There’s one way in which the Henry Quick is significantly different to most cordless stick vacuums and that’s the requirement to use disposable bags to collect all the dirt. Dust, crumbs, hair and other small debris were dealt with quickly and efficiently and once again the manoeuvrable brush head meant it was easy to clean right up to the edges of the kitchen units. By way of contrast, the Halo Capsule’s bags are made from paper and cardboard and claim to be fully compostable.Instead, it has a simple ON button, a separate button to engage the spinning brush head when required and a third power boost button, all in the same area.

With Henry Pods, there are no filters to clean, meaning you get brand-new, out of the box performance with every new Pod. But when we heard they’d created the Henry Quick Stick Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, we knew we had to test it out. This doesn't light up my path, but it does mean I can go a little more seamlessly from my hard floor to the rug, and it definitely picks up every speckle of dust and dirt. Capacity: 1 litre | Runtime: 70 minutes or 16 minutes in power boost mode | Charge time: 150 minutes | Suction: 25. The frustrating thing about having a bagged vacuum is that you can't see what's being collected, so there's no satisfaction in checking the dustbin to look at your hard work. Setting up this vacuum is a doddle, in fact, you needn't do much other than glance over the instructions briefly to know what you are doing.
