The composition is bolder than the original, starting with fresh accords of pineapple, grapefruit and violet leaf. Anyone who says this smells like Salvatore Ferragamo F In Black you've REALLY got to use your imagination.

I am a big fan of Classic Blue, and I'm quite impressed by this offering too, it's still a little bit on the safe side, I'm waiting for Coty to introduce something a little more exciting under David Beckham's banner, but Beyond is nice and clean. The best of the "Classic" line IMHO, I like the Classic Summer scent a bit more but pales in comparison with this for longevity.

This is a nice classic Blue fragrance like the name and it is great for places like the gym and warmer weather. This is also unmistakably male, unlike the gender bending trends of the past few years of male perfumery this isn't one that's likely to be borrowed by the girlfriend or wife. And it actually projects for around 3-4 hours and then hangs around like a warm and mild scent for another 2-3. But David Beckham Instinct is a bit better at this, as well as being the best scent profile I've experienced yet of any of his frags.

At the start of my journey into fragrances discovery I obviously fell in the trap of David Beckham's perfumes. I would describe it as a fresh and slightly fruity scent, most wearable in the office or at college/school. Although my fiance did not tell it straight to my face, I just knew from his facial expression that he disliked it as well. It's not very synthetic (which I greatly appreciate) and it's light and with a touch of sweet and citrus.I have fragrances hundred bucks more expensive than this but couldn’t get this big compliments for me! It could be all that time it sat in that cupboard that made the difference, as i can't remember what it smelled like new. The projection isn’t very long, but the smell sticks to clothes for very long periods when applied to a shirt or so. Overall a nice blue clean fragrance it does exactly what it says it does and makes you smell like a classic "blue" fragrance. Blind-bought this and paid around 9 USD which I consider a good deal even though I feel that it's a waste since I don't like repeating purchases.
