Think something like the original RC with the sparkling “apple” top note of Y EDP, and the lavender/sage/vetiver combo intertwining with an “amber woods” musky marine base, kinda like what they’ve been doing with the Polo Blue flankers. Unfortunately the performance is terrible for me. I actually prefer more intimate scents but on my skin this projects a few feet for literally 30 minutes and then becomes a skin scent. After a few hours it disappears almost entirely, which is unacceptable for a parfum where you're supposed to gain longevity in exchange for the lower sillage.

Ralph Lauren is an iconic designer known for defining American style through his mens and womens fashions, home furnishings, accessories and fragrances. The world of Ralph Lauren conveys a timeless luxury lifestyle with an enduring spirit of success, style and a sense of togetherness. Ultimately, Ralph’s Club may be just a drop of water in an ocean of deep blue smell-alikes, but I think it deserves to stand shoulder to shoulder with the giants of the genre, when all is said and done. If you are looking for a great scent that's very versatile, that you can use in most situations and that most people will enjoy on you, then this is it. Fans of Ralph Lauren will be pleased to see the stunning whisky-flacon design return in Ralph’s Club Parfum. The matte and gunmetal bottle is topped off by a a flask-style cap.

This fragrance is just as boring, bland and generic as the "socially acceptable" people in the advert. Where are they, what are they doing, do they even know each other, there's zero chemistry there. Just a collection of what the photographer thought "Cool People" should look like. The photo has zero chemistry and the fragrance mirrors the magnificent shallowness of the advertisement. I def get the bubble gum (pink bazooka) that people talk about in the top. It wasn't cloying for me. The transitions were subtle and I enjoyed it throughout.

As for this fragrance, while it's certainly nothing new and no doubt quite overpriced at retail (aren't they all?!), it's one of those versatile, people pleasing scents which is also pleasant for the wearer if they feel like wearing something simple & pleasant on a particular day. The true market for this fragrance, as with many of the Chanel's, Dior's YSL's and so on (which get far more hype/love) is to please the masses, not so much the fragrance 'enthusiast' especially those who seek something 'different' smelling, to put it politely. Then I read the comments: "Boring, safe, inoffensive, incredibly linear". I couldn't believe it. But just think to yourself, not everyone wants to smell incredibly offensive and difficult, Ralph's Club will get the job done in simply smelling clean and great IMO! I personally think this will live-up as new face of Ralph in 20’s era but it will not tear up as other blue. The initial spritz is a whirlwind of spice and fruit; apple and mandarin add a slightly sharp feel amongst the warm and spicy cardamom top note. The fragrance settles into a sophisticated heart of lavender, clary sage and geranium. These notes create a fresh herbaceous feel that can only be detected with a deep inhale of the scent at first, but they build as the fragrance settles. The result? A scent that’s like a breath of fresh air in a forest. When I sampled Ralph's Club I thought I was smelling something special. To me, it's lavender on top of more lavender with a complimentary vetiver dry down which adds just the right amount of depth for me that I imagine a Ralph Lauren fragrance would have. Will I buy this, sure if I run across this on discounter. It bubblegummy transparently sweet which I doesn’t have in collection but dry-down more herbal than others in market which is my personal preference. Smells a lot better than many 'niche' fragrances I've tried. What is truly baffling is niche snobs bemoaning people for wanting to smell nice, well not everyone wants to smell like a furry animal's nether regions crossed with a mouldy Camembert cheese that was abandoned in a derelict bedsit only to become a shrine to the rodent population.
