The remaining ten studies drew samples from treatment centres. 3 , 4 , 24 , 28 – 33 , 36 Tol WA; Rees SJ; Tay AK; Tam N; Saldanha Segurado ADC; da Costa ZM; da Costa Soares ES; da Costa Alves A; Martins N; Silove DM, 2018, 'Cohort Profile: Maternal mental health and child development in situations of past violent conflict and ongoing adversity: The DILI birth cohort study', International Journal of Epidemiology, vol. 47, pp. 17 - 17h, http://dx.doi.org/10.1093/ije/dyw130 robust across the majority of published studies (e.g. Reference Hauff and VaglumHauff & Vaglum, 1994; Reference Mollica, McInnes and PooleMollica et al, 1998). However, the data suggest that only a minority of refugees develop CPTSD. Steel Z; Bateman Steel CR; Silove D, 2012, 'Civilian Populations Affected by Conflict and Displacement', in Mental Health and Human Rights, Oxford University Press, pp. 387 - 402, http://dx.doi.org/10.1093/med/9780199213962.003.0025 Jonathan: Fragile X syndrome presents in three main ways: there are physical features, there are developmental features and there are behavioural and emotional features. In terms of the physical features, Fragile X syndrome classically presents with people with a long narrow face, large protuberant ears and a high forehead, although, those features are not always seen. Developmental problems seen in Fragile X syndrome include intellectual disability, also known as cognitive disability, which means they have difficulty understanding the world around them. They can also present with a range of learning difficulties, in particular with areas such as mathematics and other abstract and academic concepts. Following a systematic process of adaptation, we conducted five focus groups with Rohingya refugees, comprising five persons in each group (total n = 25); in addition, one focus group was conducted with ten trained Rohingya IAT counsellors. Both focus groups were conducted in Bangla and Rohingya by two bilingual clinical psychologists (MAAM and SK). Shelley (Mother of Brynn who has Fragile X syndrome): My youngest son Brynn was diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome after his cousin Connor was diagnosed. My sister has a two-year-old who has just been diagnosed with autism. They tested his blood and they found Fragile X, and because it’s genetic we thought we should test Brynn, and he was positive for a full mutation.
